Bicester Shopping Village

Bicester Village, sitting in the Oxfordshire countryside, first opened its doors in 1995. Since then, this pedestrianised, open-air setting has grown to include more than 160 boutiques lining the Village’s beautifully landscaped streets.

Boutiques from British and international luxury brands – offering year-round savings on the recommended retail price – sit alongside restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy all-day dining and on-the-go culinary treats.

Open seven days a week, the Village offers an array of services, including a multilingual Concierge, Personal Shopping, Hands-free Shopping and Virtual Shopping. Less than an hour from London, the Village is easy to reach by car and rail, with a regular direct train service that runs from London Marylebone to Bicester Village Station.

Silverstone Race Circuit - Home of the British Grand Prix

The end of the Second World War had left Britain with no major race track but plenty of airfields. On 2 October 1948, the Royal Automobile Club hosted the first British Grand Prix at Silverstone, a former RAF base. An estimated 100,000 people flocked to see Luigi Villoresi beat 22 others in his Maserati marked by bales, ropes and canvas barriers.

Silverstone racing history had begun and continues to this day to host the British Grand Prix.
